INTRODUCTION
Yuva Sadbhav is an initiative of ‘Sadbhav’ – an effort of the Society of Pilar to foster
interfaith relations and communal harmony. The Society of Pilar was founded in Goa on 26 th
September 1887, and has been engaging in the promotion of peace and harmony through its
institutions in Goa and beyond. The Society of Pilar cherishes the noble understanding of
‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (“the whole world is one family) and want to commit zealously
to guard and pass down this profound philosophy to the coming generation.

Yuva Sadbhav is an Inter Faith project for young people from different Faiths and Beliefs
coming together to dialogue, build relationships, trust and understanding and working
together for the common good. Such an endeavour of building bridges towards friendship and
understanding will enable the young to create a society where there is trust, respect and
cooperation between people from different faiths and beliefs.
